About Me
My name is Clyde Hampton Jr., and I'm on a mission to make yoga accessible to everyone. My journey as a yoga teacher is deeply rooted in my passion for simplifying movement.
Inspired by the belief that yoga shouldn't be confusing, I decided to become a yoga teacher. I excel in explaining yoga in a way that removes the complexity and opens the door for anyone to enjoy this beautiful practice. My philosophy, #ComeBackBetter isn't just a mantra; it's a way of life. I know what it's like to face setbacks. In high school, I was told I'd never run again after an injury. But through dedicated training and perseverance, I not only regained my abilities but enhanced them, proving that setbacks can lead to comebacks that are even better than before.
My yoga journey includes 330 hours of Vinyasa yoga certification, 35 hours of Hatha yoga certification, and 40 hours of Acroyoga training. What sets me apart is my unwavering focus on alignment. I believe that mastering the technique is more valuable than relying on natural skill. I take a personalized approach to yoga, tailoring sessions to your unique goals and preferences. I start by asking, 'What brings you joy?' and incorporate those elements into our practice, ensuring you not only achieve fitness goals but also have fun along the way. When it comes to nutrition, I emphasize the importance of understanding what your food does for you. Every bite and ingredient has an impact, and I guide you to make informed choices. Your body is your vehicle, and you have the power to decide the fuel that drives your lifestyle.
